Dwarf nectarine

I have this dwarf nectarine that was given to me a few years back, and
it's finally got fruit on it. Very strange though, there are a few that
are ripe, some that are going to be ripe in a week or so, and some that
are completely green still. Is that normal? I don't think it's got
multiple varieties grafted, because on the same branch are ripe and
green fruit together.
