Working in health care can make for nonchalance about someone else's pain. I hope he was trying to reassure you that your usual activites aren't harmful now. I work in a post surgery unit & I see a lot of folks who are afraid to move at all after any procedure. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Gene Bush" <genebush@netsurfusa.net>

Bonnie No meds, no chemo, no radiation. For now the scrapping on the inside of my bladder lining should have done the trick and removed the cancer. Iget a check at the urologist every 90 days with a scope to make sure all iswell for a year. Then once each six months and then once a year for life. The scope is not painful, but it is *very* uncomfortable during and especially afterwards for next 3 days or so. Especially first day after. Will not go into details... According to my urologist I am not restricted in any way... back to work, back to active sex life, etc...obviously he has nothad one of these procedures he is giving:-)) Do not want to sound whiny....grateful it is not worse. Sounds better, easier to cure and/or control. Does the 90 day scoping reduce your activities? Do you have to take meds or is this more equivalent to cervix scrappings? Sorry for asking so many questions but after dealing with mine, I ask more. Do take care. Surgery/procedure/biopsy was on Wednesday afternoon. Yesterday was back to the doctor's office for pathology report. Looks like superficial bladdercancer. The scrapping I received on Wednesday should take care of it... willneed to be checked with a scope every 90 days. Still sore but doing OK.
