Guys, women, anyone can chime in here:

WD40, Liquid wrench, nothing so far will remove the whatchacallit on my
outdoor spigot.  It's the splitter for 2 hoses.  Not plastic, not brass.
That semi-cheap silver metal.  It's permanently stuck on there and one side
has managed to corode and develop a hole ABOVE the shut off.  So when I
turn the water on for use from the other side, a geyser shoots out from the
hole.  How the heck do I get it off?
