It finally rained here in South Central/East Texas. Got back from San
Antonio yesterday, rained while I was there, and also rained in Houston while I was
gone, and is raining right now. Wonderful!!!! Amazing how when I made my
drive to SA approx. two weeks ago the scenery was very drab and dry....several
locations along the highway had obviously had fires due to the drought and
careless drivers. When driving back yesterday, everything was lush and green,
even the spots that had been burned had lots of new growth as if the areas had
never burned. Nature is a wonderous thing. Sure wish someone could bottle the
nutrients in rain water.....it does wonders.
