Thanks everybody. My husband is fine, we're fine, animals are all fine.
Everything is just a mess now...but that can be cleaned up. I haven't
seen this many downed trees since I lived in Kansas City in 1997 and we
had a freak snow storm in October that snapped trees and branches.
People were setting up fire cracker stands...and they were blown all
over the place. We must have had about 5-6 inches of rain in less than
an hour. Crazy.
