We had another humdinger here last night! 5" of rain in about 2 1/2
hours - 50-60 mph winds. Been cleaning up all morning. Jesse - tell Neal
- MORE rocks please. That last load did a good job but there are still a
few places I get washout. No storm drains here, so when the streets
flood, the yards flood and my driveway turns into a river. And every
vehicle that goes by sends tidal waves into your yard. I've done a
pretty good job w/ raised beds and rocks placed to divert the flow
considering my major was history and not civil engineering. Anyone heard
from Noreen or Scottie? My power went off around 8pm last night and
didn't come back until 3am or so, so couldn't get any news here. Rich
darlin' - pour yourself a glass of tea and take a little break from the
rain dancing for a week or two! We sure needed this though, just not the
wind and hail.
