I could really like cats a whole lot more if I weren't so "breathtakingly"
(literally) allergic to them! As it is, I can't see too much of them
(because my eyes swell shut before my throat gets a bit constricted.) I
don't hate them and I think they are beautiful, intelligent creatures. I
just can't be around them, their dander or their fur. Is there room in that
dog house for me too?
So, by default, I too am a dog lover, rabbit lover, horse lover, etc., etc.
etc.... Of course, daughter Tzeitel makes up for my lack of felines; she
has three that were strays she has taken in over time (and three rescue
dogs, pet rats, etc.)

David, I'll join you in that dog house. Nothing against cats - they're
great - but I'm a dog lover at my core.

Well sounds like you'll fit in perfect with this group. Not that all of
us appreciate cat talk. Frankly, I for one don't "get" it. Dogs are
man's best friend. Cat...well, cats are cats and their own best
friends.
I'll stop now before I end up in the dog house.
