I think it was me that mentioned the Doretta Klaber Thyme.  I got it on sale
last year from Wayside.  I just looked for it on their site and didn't find
it.  I got several to use in my flagstone pavers.  I can send you a picture
if you want.  It is the tightest lowest thyme that I have ever grown.  It
seems to be pretty drought resistant... so I am not sure how it would do for
you.  I have it planted in almost straight sand between the flagstones.
