The candidates already do that more or less with their websites. Campaign
ads are usually useless IMHO. I mean really -- what can you learn about a
candidate in 15 seconds????? Has anyone REALLY changed their mind about a
political candidate as a result of a 15-20 second commercial? We ought to be a
little more educated than that, about the candidates and the issues.
Though if you are interested in determining whether a campaign ad is
true/false/misleading, there is a NON-PARTISAN consumer advocate website that does
that and tries to promote truth in political advertising:

One last word about politics. Shouldn't each candidate merely state what
he believes, what he will do, etc. and not even mention the other
candidates? Then, we should be presented with an accurate account of
what each candidate has done in the past and let us decide the rest for
ourselves. I have always hated this "but he has more dirt on his shoes
than I do" type campaigns.
