Very simple...very caloric...not for one on a "low carb" diet!
Carmel Crisps
Cinnamon Graham crackers 1 stick butter 1 stick oleo 1/2c white sugar 1c chopped nuts (walnuts, pecans, etc. - I use pecans)
Line cookie sheet (with sides) with aluminum foil, letting foil extend a little at each end. Place as many crackers as will fit on the cookie sheet. Melt butter and oleo, add sugar, and bring to a boil. Boil for 3 minutes. Add nuts and pour over grahams, covering completely. Bake in a preheated 325 F oven for 15 minutes. Remove from cookie sheet by lifting the aluminum foil. Cut into 1x3 inch strips while still hot. If you are not devouring them immediately, store in a tightly covered tin after they have cooled.
