Re: potting bench with garbage disposal

Could be wrong, but I think an organic slurry from my potting bench would beneficial to almost everything growing at the plantation. But when I raised the idea in the parlor, it was summarily nixed. Have to figure out how to "trade" for it.

Kitty,
On a garden tour one time I saw a potting bench fitted with a garbage
disposal... so that they could feed the worms faster. They kept a bucket
underneath. I have always thought that would be the ultimate in
composting fast.

I can't, but.....
...potting bench with a recycled kitchen sink
which drained underground to a runoff spot.
Now, this is a great idea!

Donna, I didn't remember I told you that. I must tell you about a lg
hanging
container that was in one of the gardens this year. Don't know what they
were called but it was a recycled chair frame in the shape of a funnel. I
believe it was bamboo and must have been 4' in diameter. This was planted
and
hanging from a lg tree. Can you visualize this?
So cool. Also, he had a great potting bench with a recycled kitchen sink
which drained underground to a runoff spot.
