Re: Gloriosa, Glory Lily, Tiger's Claws/colon prep

I'm NEVER having one again! I reached the magic 50 three years ago, so
dutifully went in to have one done. The damn doctor poked a hole in my
colon, I was off work for three months, have a beautiful scar running 10"
down my belly (okay, I'm not bikini material anymore, but pleeze!) Cost me
my $1,750 deductible, total bill was $25,000 and it took me almost a full
year to recover. And no, I didn't sue. And I didn't pay my portion of
that guys bill, either. For some reason he didn't push to collect.

Had one of these last year. Must agree, the preparation was much worse than
the procedure, since I was asleep for that part. All I want to add is,
Ouch.
Next time I'm investing in some very soft toilet paper and some witchhazel
wipes.
You younguns will have your turn, so don't laugh too hard.
