Vera you can try Neem oil as well. It smothers the little buggers. However there are no real miticides on the market unless you have a pesticide license. Blow them off with a hose it's the easiest and least toxic of all.

Thank You All.  No sign of the "pest" at all.  I suspected a tiny
spider (we do have the tiny red ones out at work) or mites!  THanks
for the input! Will let you know how it goes.  Really hate the thought
of the cut out!  But will see what happens with sprays first.
