Kitty, it seems to me that you have to take into account the water you use to water your plants with. My soil is around 6 when delivered and then gradually becomes 6.5 because of watering.
Is your water really 10???

Manual may have been written before acid rain got to be a problem. I would
think distilled water too. But I wouldn't think rainwater would have a pH of
4, would it? (compared to my10 tapwater)
