Yes.  Actually, I'd rather the files were transferred instead of copied from
the camera to the computer.  Once they are on the computer, why would I
still want them on my camera?  And then I have to delete them from the
camera one by one - tedious

Yes, I think most major retailers are doing that now.  I know about WalMart
and Meijers; I'm sure Winn Dixie, KMart, and others are probably doing it
too.  I haven't tried it yet.  Check out:
