Re: Re: Goose Photos At Last
He does look like a common white goose alright. (White Embden goose)
he looks like these:

Also I found this:
White Embden geese originated by the Em River in Germany and were first
brought to the U.S. in 1821. They have the same massive appearance as
the Toulouse, combined with a pure white color. T Expect fall weights of
20 pounds for males and 13 pounds for females. Excellent for purebred
showing.
I just wanted to say that Embdens are not just good for meat, but also
pets. We bought four, and they imprinted on me and, even though they are
grown, they still follow me around. They are very intelligent, sweet,
and have a lot of personality. They are also woderful lawn mowers. A
Goose Lover
Just got 10 White Embdens the other day, and they are the funniest,
sweetest birds we've gotten yet! They enjoy eating from my hand and they
already recognize my face and voice! Thanks!!!
Geese are used as weeders - they consume grass and young weeds as
quickly as they appear but do not touch the cultivated plants. They
remove weeds close to plants that are impossible to remove by hoeing or
cultivating.
also pics here:

Apparently they are the most common variety of white goose in the US.
So perhaps you should call him Lord Chatsworth Embden (or maybe its a
Lady??)
He still can be "Peepers" to all his friends.
