Re: Favorite Salvia


Salvia madrensis, aka Forsythia Sage - I saw some nice pictures of it, but
it's not hardy here.  I had a little luck with Japanese Yellow Sage in the
past, but it just spead out too much, I got rid of it.  Regular sages flop
too much for my liking.  I have a May Night and/or East Friesland  which I
keep trying to get rid of but a piece always comes back.  They flop in full
sun too.  I suppose if I remembebered to cut them back early on to
strengthen the stems they might be ok, but I never do.
