My friends -
Thank you all for your expressions of sympathy and support. It helped me get through today. I had to go to the vets to get Jason's carrier and pay for his care. Decided to have him cremated and inter the ashes in my shade garden. He so loved being out in the yard, I had to make it his final resting place. Once that hurdle is over, I think closure will come.
I sincerely hope that my expression of distress at the loss of my pet has not offended anyone who has lost a human family member.
