Wintergreen is not hard to grow.. just need to have low pH soil. Decent duff for it to run around in. It will become pretty decent size groundcover in a few years, so plant accordingly. Nice beneath small shrubs like rhodies, azalea.

I actually already have the Hydrophyllum, but I got lots of other goodies!
I was eyeing the Glaucidium, but like you I remembered seeing it cheaper.

I grabbed some more Mitchella repens, Viola koreana 'Syletta' (that foliage
is awesome!), Geranium thunbergii (too cute), Veratrum viride (too
different), Cortusa matthioli (cute and different), and some more
wintergreen.

I *will* get wintergreen to grow for me!!!
