RE: Kitten

LOL!!! My neighbor had a rescue dog (tiny little thing) that was absolutely
afraid of everyone but HIS people. One 4th of July little Maggie was in our
driveway with Mike and Gretchen watching fireworks with us. Someone in the
neighborhood lit off a very loud (illegal) bottle rocket of his/her own.
Maggie was so very afraid that she jumped right into my arms! Then it
dawned on her that I wasn't either Mike or Gretchen!!! Poor little Maggie
about screwed her head off looking for Mike and I handed her over so she
could get comforted, God love her. The good news is that it wasn't long
before Maggie would come to me and trusted me to pet her from time to time.

Hang in the Daryl. If you can trap her like the cat owners suggest, do.
Once you do allow her to REALLY get used to your touch, she will come
around, I'm sure.

Blessings,
Bonnie (SW OH - zone 5)

Well, Squinty is Jim's cat, not mine, alas. Maybe mine will get to that
stage. He/she still won't let me touch, though he came within a foot of my
hand this afternoon before realizing what he was doing.
