Re: Kitten

Well- that doesn't sound very fun at all! I've been laying pavers most of the day. I quit at 2:30 since my arms felt like spaghetti and it was getting too darn hot even in the shade. I'll hang out and rest for a couple hours then got out for a couple more hours this evening. I guess I'm about 1/5th done. It does look nice. Oh rats, I was going to take before and after pics, but I forgot to take the before pics. Oh well I'll go take some early progress pics and then more when I'm done.

Oh geez, the vet trip this morning was a fiasco!
I took Slugger to get his Program shot (6month flea treatment) and to have his ears cleaned. My regular vet was away and a woman subbed for him. They wrapped him tightly and it still took 3 people to hold him down. Then he pooped and got it everywhere and they had to bathe him. The poor little guy is so worn out now, he walked into the house and just laid down.

The sub vet thought he must have mites so checked, but no, just wax. She said she understood why I couldn't clean his ears by myself. Very nice woman. I apologized profusely for the trouble and mess, but she seemed fine with it - all in a day's work. Very nice woman.

The trap's waiting. He's so cute "driving" the tractor this morning that I hate to catch him, though, especially since he'll most likely have to have shots and stuff at the vets. That's enough to scare anyone off people.

I vote for catching and getting it inside. You'll be amazed how fast it will take to you once indoors and you are present all the time.
