If they heaved over the winter, I might ask when you planted them. Were they season-end bargains? Not enough time to get a good grip before winter? If spring-planted, hmmm...maybe they need winter protection, mulch or something.

I have tried this plant twice... both times they heaved over the winter and lost them. Must be doing something wrong if Ceres can grow em...
