Sure wish there was some way to help you with that, Kitty. I didn't think
they even made stoves for 110 volts any more! And the obsolescence thing is
really aggravating.

I believe I bought it in 1992, Kenmore, gas. At the time it was a nice
model, SRP about $1400. When it was 9 yrs old it needed a new electronic
board (only because the down arrow didn't work, all else was fine) and Sears
said they no longer stocked it. Standard practice is to consider any
appliance over 7 yrs as obsolete. I checked around and the $150 part was
quoted at $350 - if they could find it. I checked with Sears again and got
hold of a serious employee who worked on it for 3 days and tracked the part
down to the original mfgr and got the last one, and sold it to me at the
list $150. I didn't get around to having it put in. Then when the ticking
started a year or so ago, the down arrow started working again.
So, when I do get around to getting it fixed, I'll probably just have the
new board put in while he's here.
