RE: Schipp Laurel??

Gene,

I grow cherry laurel in deep shade here. It has a nice glossy dark green
leaf and white flowers to boot. It's a slow grower. I love it.

Subject: [CHAT] Schipp Laurel??

Don't know how close this comes....
Saw a neat shrub with long narrow leaves of deep dark green. Very neat
and tidy , although a bit stiff and a bit artificial in appearance. Told it
was evergreen in this area and the name was *something like* Schipp laurel.
Can not find anything in my Dirrs. Anyone??? Can you tell me the botanical
and/or correct spelling for this shrub. Told it will eventually get about 6
feet in height.
    Thank you.
