Sorry to reply so late, but I just got back from Europe last night. I have
hundreds of mantis nests in my yard every year, and the mantises are all
about six inches long when fully grown. I have, however, never sprayed any
poison since I moved here nine years ago. I had no idea they didn't live
north of Illinois; that's too bad.
