I don't need a new hip yet, fortunately, but the falls brought on/aggravated the arthritis in the hip I wrenched. I suppose that if I live long enough I'll have to have it done. Maybe by then they'll have something better. They've already improved knees quite a bit since I was first told I'd need mine done, and the new treatments like Supartz weren't available back then.
Do you have a YMCA or something near you that has arthritis exercise classes in a warm pool? They helped me keep mobile and I need to go back to them.

breaking something. If I fall in the garden guess it would be soft enough but I
do live in a 2 story & use all 3 floors but I am very careful to grab hold of
railings. I have gained 13 lbs since I injured the knee in Jan so I certainly
hope I can start moving soon. I normally walked 2-3 miles daily and did the
weight lifting class. This is really such a minor injury. I will follow
the drs orders exactly!
Are you in need of a hip replacement ?
