Jim, I'm surprised she didn't mention Iron Phosphate (Escar-Go! and Sluggo) It works great and is non-toxic. Thanks goodness Schultz picked up on it too, so I don't have to get it by mailorder anymore. Schultz packages it in their Garden Safe brand. Of course, like everything else around here, I was late getting it down so I do have hostas with holes, but hopefully they won't get any worse.
