I've got a cheap one that Target sold a couple of years ago and has now discontinued. It had a small solar panel too, but no cell phone charger. It works sort of.
The one that our radio station was giving out was a much better brand, but I didn't get one, wanting a book they were offering instead.

Anyone have experience with one of those emergency radio/flashlight/cell-phone chargers that has a hand-crank charger for its own battery? Sounds like Rube Goldberg to me, too, but they're offered as a premium by a local public radio station AND it is hurricane season.
