Very sorry to hear about this.  Even here in our area cats, small dogs and
any small animal is game. We have always had the farms with missing animals but the edges of town have even had some problems. They at first thought it was dogs till the police managed to catch one in the act and did ... dispose 
of it.  A block from me is the town creek adn I just wonder if the
disappearance of some - only a few of the furrow cats might be the same
reason.  ???  Watch your self too!  In past even small children were
frightened/chased by them.

Thanks for caring. It would have been a lot harder to deal with if people 
had been involved.  There was no way to have avoided the coyotes.
