Re: This is summer?

Up until last weekend, we were serious dry, but the temps made working
outside ok since the lack of rain kept the humidity factor under
control. I can't say as I missed having all the bugs around either.


But now, it is hot, humid and feels like Aug here..and the bugs will be back in force too.

Donna- where it is currently 83 with 68 percent humidity.... sticky out!

It is summer here, but not unbearable for now. We are in the mid-90s
with humidity at 15% and of course do not expect any rain until next
November at the earliest. Right at the moment it is a little overcast;
there are a few high clouds but most of it is coming from a fire to the
west. Hope it does not get out of control like that one in Lake Tahoe,
but there is a lot less vegetation, this one is mostly brush I expect.

I thought summer began this past week, but yesterday the high was in the
low was 69 degrees, and this morning the temperature was  45 degrees.
It's up to 67 now, but quite windy and chilly.  Also, it's terribly dry.
It's been a couple of months now since the 8-inch flood, and not more
than an inch total has fallen, mostly in very light showers, since then.
Not my idea of summer weather.  People say how beautiful the weather is,
but it just doesn't look that way to me.
