False alarm. Got very grey and windy, but no precip. Blue sky, little wind now.

Not sure about Cathy, but it whipped thru here over an hour ago. Lotsa wind before rather than during, which was strange.
I understand folks north of me really got hit and many without power. 65mph winds tend to do that.

I checked the weather for here. They say 50% chance scattered storms today
then nothing until Wednesday. I looked at the map, and if it is correct,
timewise, it's all still over Donna. So if it's coming this way, I
wouldn't
expect it until tonight, though it is breezy.

Dont count on the weather cooperating..... It was supposed to dry up
here for the next week..... of course, they are wrong, we are now under
a severe thunderstorm warning... it has already began raining and the
preceding wind was as bad as last weeks... here I go again. sigh.


take care all and stay safe....seems ma nature is attacking everyone
from the fires in California to the flooding in the midwest, to the heat
on the east coast....

I just got my electricity back... but it was just out from 5 AM
until now..
about 8 AM. That doesn't sound bad .... but it is such a weird
feeling
knowing how dependent we are on electricity. It is still raining
and we
have already had almost 3.5 inches since last night about 10 PM.
