Re: Settling in

Hi Bonnie. I've thought of that, but I don't want to risk it now. Maybe when Sadie gets a little older and a little less rambunctious [if ever]. She's too big, too strong, and too energetic for me to deal with if she went sour on the kitten.

What about introducing a small kitten? Often a female dog will "mother" a

Thanks Melody. All I can say is we're an odd family that has always
more or less looked out for one-another. And, sadly, cats are out for
the nonce, owing to the dog, Sadie, the Ravenous Beast Traal.

on a new feline companion or is that out of the question for now?

Finally beginning to feel at home here. Spent most of yesterday and
part of today assembling two chests of drawers from IKEA. They
should've warned me. At the very least, the box should have said
"Not
suitable for assembly by persons over 70 years of age." It
could've
also said "Having three hands highly recommended." I'm so
stiff and
sore I can barely keep my most used body parts in

drawers and quit living out
of suitcases, backpacks, and plastic
