Yesterday, I was looking out the window at a stellar magnolia where there are two birds nests (grackle and robin). I noticed the birds were going crazy, diving in and out of the bush, so went to investigate. Peered in among the branches and saw a squirrel stealthily creeping toward one of the nests. I frightened it away, and all was calm. Has anyone heard of squirrels eating baby birds??
