Chris, There are certain common plants I'd never be without and those I'd just as soon never see again. I get special joy from some simple plants that spark memories for me or that I worked so hard to grow from seed- and are now plentiful. One I smile at every spring is a little primrose Marge(?) sent me. I never had any success with them and she told me these would thrive. And they are still here after all these years. There are a lot of my wish list items in there, as well as a handful of things that I tried but killed. :) My plants this year aren't as exotic lately as in the past -- I'm trying to fill in some holes with budget constraints and using plants that I won't mind losing too much. Over time I plan to replace things with more specialized items. Of course, some of the more common plants are also the most beautiful, so who knows? :) Chris --------------------------------------------------------------------- To sign-off this list, send email to majordomo@hort.net with the message text UNSUBSCRIBE GARDENCHAT --------------------------------------------------------------------- To sign-off this list, send email to majordomo@hort.net with the message text UNSUBSCRIBE GARDENCHAT
