We were in the Big Bend National Park two years ago when they said the
wildflowers were the best in many years. On the approach to the park from
Marathon, the roads were lined for literally miles with the blankets of blue.
It was indeed a spectacular sight. Of course there were other splendid
wildflowers, too, some of which I was never able to identify. We were so
fortunate to visit at that time. Truly Texas is blessed.
