Nope...not even gumbo. Lived in New Orleans too....couldn't eat it. Most of the food in New Orleans I could not eat...allergic to most of it. Can't eat shell fish....and they put it in EVERYTHING.

Gumbo I can handle. Never had Jesse's okra though, she's a marvelous
cook. She even had me eating an artichoke for the first time. They taste
better than they look.
