have to admit i like grits. don't know why. and i like them best with lots of tabasco, same way i like cottage cheese. but i also like hominy, the real thing, which no other more or less civilized person owns up to. character defect, i guess.
and, yes, rich, sos is a welcome dish around here, too. in fact, the short one and i breakfast out a few day a week and the quality of the establishment's sos is often the deciding factor in where we go.
