Re: Grits


Something else they serve here that I thought odd, but this tastes pretty
darn good.  I'd never seen noodles before we moved to Indiana, so in and of
themselves they were kind of odd.   But the school I attended had these old
German women who cooked for us.  And one of the favorite meals was mashed
potatoes, topped with noodles, topped with beef gravy - and a bit of beef
in the gravy.  Talk about starch!
