Sounds so marvelous, Pam. I was finally able to reach some branches last
weekend and brought in forsythia and quince to force. Now I have a jug of
forsythia branches just beginning to turn yellow. The quince branches have
cute little round green knobs about the size of peas. I don't think there
are any flower buds there, but at least the green will be welcome. We still
have a lot of snow cover, even after four days of thaw. It's supposed to
rain tomorrow, but since the ground is still frozen, it won't help our
drought situation too much - just run off instead of soaking in. Enjoy your
spring - we'll finally get some someday maybe. Auralie
