RE: fern id
Kitty- I also have a rabbit's foot fern - not sure if I still have a tag
and it's dark now. I'll look in the am and see what it says. I don't
believe the variety I have is tropical, so I suspect we have the same fern.

We have a fern in our Zone 5 garden that has been there several years.
It has a plant tag- the kind that would come with it from any mass
merchant that says Rabbit's Foot Fern, Davallia species. Except
Davallias, Hare's Foot Fern, are tropical ferns, so I looked for another
Rabbit's Foot and came up with Phlebodium aureum, Syn: Polypodium
aureum. But that's no good either; another tropical fern.Does anyone
know of a hardy fern that might be called Rabbit's Foot Fern? Kitty
