RE: orange peony


Judy, 
Double check this - are you sure it wasn't a vintage orange POPPY?  There
was a write up about one last year in Horticulture, called papaver
lateriteum, known as Orange Poppy or Armenian Poppy.  If this is what you
want I can find the article for you.
