Re: ground orchid?

So it's been a week and no AHA. I don't know what I might've suggested Theresa. Cymbidiums, as someone pointed out, might well grow outdoors for you--and they fairly inexpensive to try.

I don't know if there are any native orchids on the West Coast, but there are natives all over the Eastern States, particularly the ladyslippers [Ms Fatma was astounded to find them in the woods in Vermont last summer].

So- not sure which one was discussed before- but looks like I have
homework to do to see what looks good now. I love the bletilla I have-
it is now a nice clump coming up. Can't wait to see the blooms. I have
both white and pink.
