RE: Nasturtiums


They do okay for me in morning sun/afternoon shade up till the time the
temps consistently get into the high 90s. Then pffft. That's about late June
here. 
Portulaca is a nice annual that likes sun and heat, easy to grow but takes a
long time from seed.

I was going to suggest to my gardening challenged daughter in Wichita 
Falls, TX, that she might plant some nasturtiums, but I seem to recall 
that they don't like hot summers. Any of you in that part of the 
country or any place with similar weather grow them?
