I am still cleaning up the mess, getting stuff off what's left of the
porch so they can fix it - hopefully end of this week, plus rounding up
new containers, plants, etc. Got 8 bags of potting soil piled up next to
me so I can get busy immediately when the construction is done.

Sorry, can't help with the growing in TX, but....but my thought would be to
suggest something native for that area if she is garden challenged..
 
My guess is Pam is either out working in the garden getting it back to
normal or doing tons of laundry with that new Kenmore set.... <lol>
