About five years ago, maybe six, OG did an article comparing various animal manures. As I recall chicken rated highest in Nitrogen, and horse scored better than cow, despite what all the old time farmers say. Would you happen to have the article in your collection? Or does anyone else on the list happen to have it? Kitty?? I'd love to get a copy.

Oh good! If magazines don't count then my "black hole" room is pretty
clean. I think it's time to let go of all my Organic Gardening magazines
(still hanging on to the rest - one at a time is a start). I know in the
past there have been organizations that use back issues of OG; anybody
know of a better use for old gardening magazines in general, OG in
particular, than the recycle bin?
