Auralie, I know I've mentioned it before, but deer do not like the Chestnut rose, either. I'm not sure if it's viable in your zone, but it's just beautiful here.

Does it by any chance resist deer? That's the reason I have stopped growing roses, except for a couple of rugosas that they don't bother - Grootendorst Supreme and Blanc Double du Courbet.
