Re: crazy weather

The weather folks say the storm has weakened, but they are also saying the rain is falling at a rate of 2-3" per hour! I can't imagine how you could have gotten any benefit from it. It has just now begun to sprinkle here.

We're still over a foot behind precip-wise. Lakes are VERY low. And we
only have until May to get caught up or we are, in the words of one of my
co-workers, in deep doo-doo. The ground is so thirsty you can almost hear a
sucking sound when any kind of moisture hits it. Never seen anything like
this.

Pam, what is the status of your moisture level now? We have been
receiving rain for the past 3 days and yet today but it does take alot
to recover
from the arid state.
