It the nest were in our yard, I'd say momma bunnies shed fur mixed with
grass and other things should could mass that would make the nest soft and
warm. Sometimes they cover the fur with leaves, etc. to help disguise the
nest, too. That's how one year Bill and I ended up nursing tiny baby
bunnies when he ran his tiller into their nest. UGH!
Like dad, if I have a particularly bad "bunny" problem, I'll fence or
something, but I don't use anything to chase or try to kill them. They too
are just trying to find food. Dad even planted extra for the critters.
