We have a shorter growing season than you do so a 4 to 5 month feed is adequate.

I looked at the bag and it says at 70 degrees 3 to 4 months. At 60, 4 to 5
months, and as the temps go up, 80, 2 to 3, and 90, 1 to 2.
I'd rather under than over fertilize. So I do it once a year, if that. I
add
compost and leaf mulch also.
