RE: winters back......

So sorry you got such a heavy dump of snow.  I'm tickled you got the
moisture, but it is backbreaking in that form.  We didn't get as much as
predicted and it was a very dry, blowing snow, but the timing was terrible.
Only flurries today and it should make it a little above freezing for our
high and melt most of the mess on hard surfaces today since the sun will
peek through from time to time.   I think you've gotten those muscles toned
up for the spring garden flurry now.  Don't you think we can quit with the
winter precipitation now?

Hi Ceres and all,  Dig out is right.  By the time it stopped we had over 18"
of very wet snow, really hard to shovel; equal to about 3" of rain, so
that's good.

Donna, it is very nasty here this morning.   Wet, wet snow makes travel very
dangerous.   It is cold enough ice is forming on the streets when cleared.
Accidents and no school everywhere.   I took off from the greenhouse today
for
a TAS (Applique Society) meeting this morning across town however I will
stay
inside instead.
     Rich must have been dumped on so he is probably trying to dig out.
